I quite like Phoenix, I think we can run well here - equally I think we can get **** all luck and finish in the back 10. May as well flip a coin!

lol, I know what you mean. We know the car' good, just a set of circumstances always seem to conspire against us.

Heres hoping for anything decent out of this race Confused

I love this track and have seen 2 races in person here. That being said, this is historically not one of JPM's best tracks. I am cautiously optimistic about our chances. At this point, id be happy with a freakin top 15.

Not really, to have a chance of the chase we need to put some hurry behind it. We still got 20 races left for that but still if he wants that he needs to try and get at least a top 5.

Frankly as the results on some of Juan's best tracks have been so dismal this year, I very much doubt now we get to some of his weaker tracks the trend will change.

Something went horribly wrong at Lowe's last year, in the 12 races since the #42 team has had 2 really good days, 2 OK days and 8 disasters. It's just been the same old story every week, always something different and if it were 1 or 2 races you'd say it was just racing, it's not "just racing" when Juan has had wrecks (only 1 of which (Texas) you'd pin on him) in 8 of the last 12 races.

I was pondering this also and came to the same conclusion.

I agree with the top 15 statement. I don't care about the chase at this point. The body shop needs a freakin break. I want to see a #42 come back onto the truck with no damage, even if its not a lead lap finish (Not that I want to see a motor problem or anything, lol!). I think if the team can get a top 15, that will build some morale back up since its not Juan's best track.

Frankly, i'm freaking tired of all this bad luck. I, however, believe in the entire target team!!!!! That said i Pheonix can't come soon enough as i'm positive we will see good things from now on.

Car was dynamite at New Hamphsire last year and Phx is a flat one mile track. Maybe we can do what Mark Martin did there last year.

But the fall Phoenix race last year, even after New Hampshire, wasn't awesome. Right now I'd gladly take the 8th Juan got at Phoenix last year. The good thing is Turex finished in the top 5 in that race.

Yup i read this and it can take quite a long time if they decide to go deep... or are they simply some fans/curious wanting to put their nose deeper than their own functions allow them to ?

Cheers,

JG
