Hi Guys:

Is there an easy way to use an image on my hard drive as my avatar? I can't seem to figure it out.

there has got to be way better instruction and advice than i can provide but...

I use one of those picture sites to store mine on line. I use image shack but lots of people use photo bucket. (links bellow).
You can get a free account and upload your photos then you can put a link to the picture in your profile. Just follow the directions on those sites.
